At Bibi Fatima Society, we deeply value the trust our donors place in us. This Return & Refund Policy outlines our approach to donation refunds and returns of physical items. As a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, we follow specific guidelines for handling refund requests.
2. General Donation Policy
Donations made to Bibi Fatima Society are generally considered final and non-refundable. When you make a donation, it is immediately allocated to support our charitable programs and community initiatives.
Important: As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our donors to fund our programs. Once a donation is processed, it is quickly directed toward our charitable activities, making refunds exceptional rather than standard practice.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Unauthorized transaction made using your payment method
- Technical error resulting in incorrect donation amount
- Duplicate transaction due to system error
- Donation made under mistaken identity or false pretenses
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Requests made after this period may not be eligible for review.

Our team reviews your request within 5-7 business days
Resolution
If approved, refund processed within 10 business days to original payment method

- Full name and contact information
- Date and amount of donation
- Transaction ID or receipt number
- Reason for refund request
- Payment method used
5. Returns of Physical Items
For physical items purchased from our organization (such as merchandise):
- Items must be returned unused and in original packaging within 15 days of receipt
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless item was defective or incorrect
- Upon receipt and inspection of returned item, we will process a refund to the original payment method within 10 business days

6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Donations where tax exemption certificate has already been issued
- Donations made more than 30 days prior to refund request
- Customized or personalized items
- Perishable goods
- Event registrations and tickets (unless event is canceled by us)
7. Tax Implications
If you have received a tax exemption certificate for your donation and subsequently receive a refund:
- You are responsible for reporting the adjustment on your tax returns
- We will issue a revised receipt if required
- Please consult with a tax professional regarding any implications
